A Message from Rabbi Alter Korf
The Chabad Center of St. Petersburg is one of more than 4,000 branches of the largest Jewish education and outreach program in the world. Chabad is a place where all Jews - regardless of background, knowledge of Jewish traditions, or level of observance – are welcome to learn, connect, and celebrate together. While many Jewish organizations are declining, Chabad is growing. Why? Because Chabad is a place where you belong.
Are you looking for a place to meet other Jews in Pinellas County? Do you want to enhance the Jewish life of your home or synagogue? Do you want to joyfully celebrate holidays with the community? Chabad is dedicated to helping every Jew, from babies to bubbies, increase their knowledge, enthusiasm, and commitment to Jewish life.
Chabad is inclusive and non-judgmental, and our programs are open to all Jews. There are no prerequisites for getting involved with Chabad. You can come as often or as infrequently as you want, and we will always be glad to see you.
In a FORTUNE magazine article, Howard Schultz, Chairman & Founder of Starbucks described his business model this way: “Starbucks has become what I call the third place. The first place is home. The second place is work. We are the place in between. It’s a place to feel comfort. A place to feel safe. A place to feel like you belong.”
Make Chabad Jewish Center your “spiritual third space” between home and synagogue. We look forward to welcoming you.
