The Chabad Jewish Center of Greater S. Petersburg was founded in December 2002 under the inspiration and leadership of the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, whose profound love for all mankind and global vision catapulted Chabad into an organization of over three thousand centers world-wide.. A “home” that welcomes and treasures each individual for their inherent qualities and spiritual potential, Chabad Jewish Center is dedicated to strengthening Jewish identity and continuity by sharing the beauty and richness of timeless Jewish values in a warm, nurturing and nonjudgmental environment.

Since its founding, the Chabad Jewish Center of Greater S. Petersburg has brought together thousands of people of all backgrounds and affiliations, providing creative and inspirational programs including: Camp Gan Israel, Chabad Hebrew School, Adult Education, Public Menorah Lightings, Passover Seders, Community Shabbat Dinners, Jewish Learning Institute, Hospital Chaplaincy and Home-Bound Visitation, Prison Inmate Programs, and more. A countless number of individuals and families have been touched by our support in their time of need. In addition to providing comfort and counseling, we offer pure and simple friendship.
