The 10th of Shevatis the yahrtzeitof Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Schneersohn (1880-1950), the sixth Rebbeof Chabad-Lubavitch, also known as “the Frierdiker Rebbe” or the “RaYYatz”

On this day, the 10th of Shevat, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok’s legendary son in law, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson O.B.M., the present LubavitcherRebbe, assumed the leadership of the Chabad movement; continuing and exponentially expanding his predecessor’s work.

We are happy to notify you that Rabbi Y.Y. Jacobson will G-d willing conduct a live Yud-Shevat farbrengen, on Sunday evening, January 24, 2010, 10 Shevat 5770, which will be broadcast live at our Chabad House, and we will join many more around thwe world. 

It will all take place at Chabad Jewish Center, 4010 Park St North.

Sunday, January 24, 2010.  Farbgrengen will start at 6:00 pm.

  A light dinner will be served. There is no charge.
